I attended the Esri Partner Conference in Palm Springs last
month and had the opportunity to meet and speak with Jack Dangermond, founder
of Esri.
Jack Dangermond and Todd Kuhlmann, Esri Partner Conference, March 2016 |
This man started what was then called the Environmental
Systems Research Institute in 1969, and has since found ways to use mapping
technology to solve some of the world’s largest problems. Today, Esri’s technology
is utilized in almost every sector imaginable. It is easy to see why Forbes recently hailed him “The Godfather
of Digital Maps.”
CRE Tech®, Inc. has formed a partnership with Esri, and we
are working to integrate powerful Esri GIS data in TheAnalyst® PRO. This data is
providing us with more comprehensive, accurate results for our Location Risk
Analysis Reports, which display environmental and flood concerns for any
location within the US, in just a matter of minutes. Watch for some big
announcements to come, including the addition of crime information in our
Location Risk Analysis.
I invite you to read more about Mr. Dangermond and Esri in
this wonderful article, published in the February 29, 2016 issue of Forbes, “The Godfather of Digital Maps”.
